किमिदं पश्य गत्वा त्वं दृष्ट्वा मह्यं निवेदय । तत्तस्य वचनं श्रुत्वा गतो वै नलकूबरः
kimidaṃ paśya gatvā tvaṃ dṛṣṭvā mahyaṃ nivedaya | tattasya vacanaṃ śrutvā gato vai nalakūbaraḥ
«Va voir ce que c’est ; après l’avoir vu, viens me le rapporter.» Ayant entendu cet ordre, Nalakūbara s’en alla aussitôt.
