Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 47

यमाय मृत्यवे चैव आज्यभागं तदा ददुः । दत्त्वाज्यभागान्विधिवद्वव्रिरे ते शुभव्रताः

yamāya mṛtyave caiva ājyabhāgaṃ tadā daduḥ | dattvājyabhāgānvidhivadvavrire te śubhavratāḥ

Puis ils donnèrent la part de ghee, l’ājyabhāga, à Yama et aussi à Mṛtyu. Après avoir offert selon la règle les ājyabhāgas, ces observants aux vœux heureux firent leur choix comme il convient.
