Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 52

अर्घ्यपाद्यादिविधिना पूजां कृत्वा विधानतः । दंडवत्तं प्रणम्याथ विधिना चोपवेशितः

arghyapādyādividhinā pūjāṃ kṛtvā vidhānataḥ | daṃḍavattaṃ praṇamyātha vidhinā copaveśitaḥ

Après avoir accompli le culte selon la règle—offrant l’arghya, le pādya et les autres services rituels—il se prosterna de tout son corps; puis, conformément au rite, il fut assis avec déférence.
