पश्यंति दिविजाः सर्वे विमानस्थाः सकौतुकाः । अथेयमपि चांडाली वसनाशनतृष्णया
paśyaṃti divijāḥ sarve vimānasthāḥ sakautukāḥ | atheyamapi cāṃḍālī vasanāśanatṛṣṇayā
Tous les dieux, assis dans leurs vimānas, regardaient avec curiosité. Alors cette femme caṇḍālī aussi, poussée par le désir de vêtements et de nourriture, (prit sa route).
