देव्युवाच । प्रीतास्मि ते मुनिश्रेष्ठ वत्से प्रीतास्मि तेऽनघे । किं वा ददाम्यभिमतं देवानामपि दुर्लभम्
devyuvāca | prītāsmi te muniśreṣṭha vatse prītāsmi te'naghe | kiṃ vā dadāmyabhimataṃ devānāmapi durlabham
La Déesse dit : «Ô le meilleur des sages, je suis satisfaite de toi ; chère enfant, ô irréprochable, je suis satisfaite de toi. Quel don désiré dois-je t’accorder, un don difficile à obtenir même pour les dieux ?»
