उमारुद्राङ्गसम्भूता येन चैषा महानदी । लोकान्प्रापयते स्वर्गं तेन पुण्यत्वमागता

umārudrāṅgasambhūtā yena caiṣā mahānadī | lokānprāpayate svargaṃ tena puṇyatvamāgatā

Parce que ce grand fleuve est né du corps d’Umā et de Rudra, et parce qu’il conduit les êtres au ciel, il a ainsi obtenu le rang de mérite suprême et de sainteté.
