तत्रास्थीनि विलीयन्ते पिण्डदानेऽक्षया गतिः । यत्किंचिद्दीयते तत्र तद्धि कोटिगुणं भवेत्
tatrāsthīni vilīyante piṇḍadāne'kṣayā gatiḥ | yatkiṃciddīyate tatra taddhi koṭiguṇaṃ bhavet
Là, dit-on, même les os se dissolvent ; et par l’offrande de piṇḍa, on obtient pour les défunts un bien impérissable. Tout don fait en ce lieu devient un mérite multiplié par un million.
