māsi bhādrapade pārtha kṛṣṇapakṣe caturdaśī | upoṣya parayā bhaktyā rātrau kurvīta jāgaram

Translation

Au mois de Bhādrapada, ô fils de Pṛthā, le quatorzième jour de la quinzaine sombre—après avoir jeûné avec une dévotion suprême—qu’il veille toute la nuit.
