सर्पा ऊचुः । यथा त्वं जननी चाम्ब सर्वेषां भुवि पूजिता । तथा सापि विशेषेण वञ्चितव्या न मातरः
sarpā ūcuḥ | yathā tvaṃ jananī cāmba sarveṣāṃ bhuvi pūjitā | tathā sāpi viśeṣeṇa vañcitavyā na mātaraḥ
Les serpents dirent : «Mère, puisque toi, ô Mère, tu es honorée sur la terre par tous, elle aussi est une mère. Il ne faut pas tromper les mères, surtout.»
