Type: kshetra
Scene: Narmadā, radiant and composed amid the pralaya waters, addresses Śiva with folded hands; the cosmic night recedes, hinting at dawn of re-creation.
Divine grace (prasāda) transcends mortality; the sacred river embodies Śiva’s protection and auspicious renewal.
Revā/Narmadā—presented as a Śaiva sacred geography whose very presence is a source of protection and merit.
No explicit rite is prescribed in this verse; it establishes the mahātmya foundation for Narmadā-related tīrtha practices.
