तस्यास्तु वचनं श्रुत्वा राज्ञी तत्र स्वयं गता । उवाच शबरीं प्रीत्या देहि पद्मानि मूल्यतः
tasyāstu vacanaṃ śrutvā rājñī tatra svayaṃ gatā | uvāca śabarīṃ prītyā dehi padmāni mūlyataḥ
Ayant entendu ces paroles, la reine s’y rendit elle-même et, avec tendresse, dit à la femme Śabarī : « Donne-moi les lotus ; prends-en le juste prix. »
