एतस्मिन्नन्धकः काले चिन्तयामास भारत । तोषयामि महादेवं येन सानुग्रहो भवेत्
etasminnandhakaḥ kāle cintayāmāsa bhārata | toṣayāmi mahādevaṃ yena sānugraho bhavet
En ce temps-là, ô Bhārata, Andhaka se mit à réfléchir : «J’apaiserai Mahādeva, afin qu’il me soit favorable et plein de grâce».
