पिप्पलाद उवाच । अद्यप्रभृति बालानां वर्षादा षोडशाद्ग्रह । पीडा त्वया न कर्तव्या एष ते समयः कृतः
pippalāda uvāca | adyaprabhṛti bālānāṃ varṣādā ṣoḍaśādgraha | pīḍā tvayā na kartavyā eṣa te samayaḥ kṛtaḥ
Pippalāda dit : « À partir d’aujourd’hui, ô Graha, tu ne devras plus faire souffrir les enfants, de l’âge d’un an jusqu’à seize ans. Tel est l’engagement que je fixe pour toi. »
