अन्तःपुरचरं वृद्धं दण्डपाणिं गुणान्वितम् । उवाच राजा हृष्टात्मा शब्देनापूरयन्दिशः

Transliteration

antaḥpuracaraṃ vṛddhaṃ daṇḍapāṇiṃ guṇānvitam | uvāca rājā hṛṣṭātmā śabdenāpūrayandiśaḥ

Translation

Le roi, l’âme réjouie, s’adressa au vénérable vieillard, vertueux, qui allait dans l’intérieur du palais des femmes, bâton en main, emplissant de sa voix les directions.
