विधिं तं शृणु सुभगे कथ्यमानं सुखावहम् । चैत्रे शुक्लतृतीयायां सुस्नाता शुद्धमानसा

vidhiṃ taṃ śṛṇu subhage kathyamānaṃ sukhāvaham | caitre śuklatṛtīyāyāṃ susnātā śuddhamānasā

Ô dame fortunée, écoute la règle qu’on expose à présent, source de bien-être et de joie. Au troisième tithi de la quinzaine claire de Caitra, après un bain purificateur et l’esprit limpide, qu’on commence l’observance.
