लयं गता तत्र लिङ्गे तेन पुण्यतमा हि सा । नर्मदायां वसन्नित्यं नर्मदाम्बु पिबन्सदा । दीक्षितः सर्वयज्ञेषु सोमपानं दिने दिने
layaṃ gatā tatra liṅge tena puṇyatamā hi sā | narmadāyāṃ vasannityaṃ narmadāmbu pibansadā | dīkṣitaḥ sarvayajñeṣu somapānaṃ dine dine
Là, elle se résorba dans ce liṅga ; c’est pourquoi elle est, en vérité, la plus sainte. Celui qui demeure toujours auprès de la Narmadā et boit sans cesse l’eau de la Narmadā est tenu pour initié à tous les yajñas, comme s’il buvait le Soma jour après jour par le mérite.
