दह्यमानास्ततो दैत्या अग्निज्वालासमावृताः । प्रविश्य पातालतलं जले लीनाः सहस्रशः

dahyamānāstato daityā agnijvālāsamāvṛtāḥ | praviśya pātālatalaṃ jale līnāḥ sahasraśaḥ

Alors les Daitya, brûlant et enveloppés de langues de feu, pénétrèrent dans les profondeurs de Pātāla et, par milliers, se fondirent dans les eaux et disparurent.
