ईश्वर उवाच । एतास्तु धिष्णिनाम्न्यो वै भविष्यन्ति सरिद्वराः । पत्न्यस्तव विशालाक्ष्यो वेदे ख्याता न संशयः

īśvara uvāca | etāstu dhiṣṇināmnyo vai bhaviṣyanti saridvarāḥ | patnyastava viśālākṣyo vede khyātā na saṃśayaḥ

Īśvara dit : «Ces rivières excellentes seront assurément connues sous le nom de Dhiṣṇī. Elles seront tes épouses—déesses aux larges yeux—célébrées dans le Veda, sans aucun doute.»
