Même en un moment inopportun, par le seul souvenir de ceci, il devient sans péché et atteint Hari. Cette glorification accorde renommée et longue vie, donne le ciel, et réjouit les vertus des ancêtres (pitṛs).
Śiva (continued phalaśruti context from Śaṅkara’s statement)
Tirtha: Revā-māhātmya remembrance
Type: kshetra
Listener: General devotee/pilgrim
Scene: A devotee, unable to perform rites at the proper time, sits in contemplation remembering Hari and Revā; above, symbols of fame, longevity, heaven, and satisfied ancestors appear as subtle iconographic motifs.
Sacred remembrance is powerful: even mental recollection of the māhātmya purifies and leads toward divine attainment.
The teaching belongs to the Revā-khaṇḍa, praising the Revā tīrtha tradition and its associated recitation/remembering.
Smaraṇa (remembrance) of the māhātmya, alongside the implied practice of hearing/recitation from the prior verse.
