प्रदक्षिणीकृता स्याद्वै धरणी शङ्करोऽब्रवीत् । इदं यः पठ्यमानं तु शृणुयात्पठतेऽपि वा
pradakṣiṇīkṛtā syādvai dharaṇī śaṅkaro'bravīt | idaṃ yaḥ paṭhyamānaṃ tu śṛṇuyātpaṭhate'pi vā
Śaṅkara déclara : «Par ceci, la terre elle-même est véritablement parcourue en pradakṣiṇā, comme acte d’adoration. Et quiconque l’entend réciter—ou le récite lui-même—en recueille le mérite».
