इति श्रुत्वा तु वचनं श्रीपतिः पादपङ्कजात् । मुमोच जाह्नवीतोयं रेवामध्यगमं शुचि

iti śrutvā tu vacanaṃ śrīpatiḥ pādapaṅkajāt | mumoca jāhnavītoyaṃ revāmadhyagamaṃ śuci

Ayant entendu ces paroles, Śrīpati fit jaillir de ses pieds de lotus les eaux de la Jāhnavī (Gaṅgā), pures et saintes, et elles s’écoulèrent jusqu’au milieu de la Revā.
