Skanda Purana — Avanti Khanda, Shloka 56

लक्ष्मीर्भर्त्रा च संयुक्ताभवत्तत्कृतवान्प्रभुः । ब्रह्मणो जुह्वतो वह्निं यावद्देशस्थितैः सुरैः

lakṣmīrbhartrā ca saṃyuktābhavattatkṛtavānprabhuḥ | brahmaṇo juhvato vahniṃ yāvaddeśasthitaiḥ suraiḥ

Par cet acte, le Seigneur accomplit son dessein : Lakṣmī fut unie à son époux. Et tandis que Brahmā versait les oblations, le feu sacré fut servi et contemplé par les dieux établis dans toute la contrée.
