Skanda Purana — Avanti Khanda, Shloka 66

उत्पत्तिहेतुरेते च यस्मिन्सर्वं प्रलीयते । सर्वावासीति देवत्वाद्वासुदेवेत्युदाहृतः

utpattiheturete ca yasminsarvaṃ pralīyate | sarvāvāsīti devatvādvāsudevetyudāhṛtaḥ

Il est la cause de la naissance de tout cela, et en Lui tout se résorbe. Et parce que, en tant que Dieu, Il demeure en tous, Il est donc proclamé Vāsudeva.
