Narrator (Purāṇic speaker, contextually within Revā Khaṇḍa discourse)
Tirtha: Dvādaśāditya-tīrtha on Revā (as implied by the passage)
Type: ghat
Scene: A pilgrim completes pradakṣiṇā at a riverside solar shrine; the earth is poetically implied as circumambulated; Saptamī fasting is announced as the next fruit.
A single focused act of reverence can equal vast religious effort; discipline (fasting) further intensifies merit.
The unnamed ‘tatra tīrtha’ refers to the Dvādaśāditya-associated sacred place within the Revā Khaṇḍa’s Narmadā tīrtha landscape.
Pradakṣiṇā of the deity and upavāsa (fasting) on Saptamī at that tīrtha.
