भित्त्वार्णवं तोयमथान्तरस्थं विवेश पातालतलं क्षणेन । जले निमग्नां धरणीं समस्तां समस्पृशत्पङ्कजपत्रनेत्राम्
bhittvārṇavaṃ toyamathāntarasthaṃ viveśa pātālatalaṃ kṣaṇena | jale nimagnāṃ dharaṇīṃ samastāṃ samaspṛśatpaṅkajapatranetrām
Fendant les eaux de l’océan et pénétrant en ce qui se trouvait au-dedans, en un instant il atteignit le sol de Pātāla. Là, il toucha la Terre tout entière, engloutie sous les eaux—la Terre aux yeux pareils à des pétales de lotus, belle et lumineuse.
