सापि कुम्भोदकैः स्नाता जीवत्पुत्रा प्रजावती । अपठस्तु नरोपोष्य ऋग्यजुःसामसम्भवाम्
sāpi kumbhodakaiḥ snātā jīvatputrā prajāvatī | apaṭhastu naropoṣya ṛgyajuḥsāmasambhavām
Elle aussi, après s’être baignée avec l’eau de la cruche, devient mère de fils vivants et comblée de descendance. Et même un homme sans étude, par le jeûne et la maîtrise de soi, et en recourant au rite issu du Ṛg, du Yajus et du Sāman—la prière védique—obtient du mérite.
