Tirtha: Revā (Narmadā) tīrtha (specific ghāṭa implied by context)
Type: ghat
Scene: A pilgrim at Revā’s ghāṭa: dawn bath, then offerings to devas, a śrāddha setup with kuśa and piṇḍa, and finally Śiva worship at a riverside liṅga shrine.
Purification is completed through a dharmic sequence: bodily cleansing, devotion, honoring gods and ancestors, and culminating in Śiva worship.
The instructions are given in the Daśāśvamedha-tīrtha context associated with Sarasvatī.
Snāna, upavāsa, deva-arcana, śrāddha (per rules), and then full worship of Śiva.
