पिङ्गल उवाच । यदि तुष्टोऽसि देवेश दीयते देव चेप्सितम् । चन्द्रादित्यौ च नयने कृत्वात्र कलया स्थितः
piṅgala uvāca | yadi tuṣṭo'si deveśa dīyate deva cepsitam | candrādityau ca nayane kṛtvātra kalayā sthitaḥ
Piṅgala dit : «Si tu es satisfait, ô Seigneur des dieux, accorde ce qui est désiré. Ayant établi ici la Lune et le Soleil comme mes deux yeux, demeure en ce lieu par ta part divine.»
