Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Bhṛgukaccha (Īśvara-anugraha episode)
Type: kshetra
Listener: null
Scene: Īśvara speaks with calm authority to the assembled devas: he is pleased especially by their tapas and even more by their words; he grants the desired boon; the mood shifts from crisis to assurance.
Tapas and sincere supplication together attract divine favor; grace is portrayed as responsive to disciplined devotion.
The verse is part of the Bhṛgukaccha/Devakhāta narrative stream within Revākhaṇḍa rather than a standalone site-praise.
Tapas (austerity) and prayerful petition are upheld as means to obtain divine boons.
