Transliteration

evamukte tayā vākye stambhite'rke tamomayam | na ca prajāyate sarvaṃ nirvaṣaṭkārasatkriyam

Translation

Lorsqu'elle parla ainsi, le Soleil fut arrêté et tout devint ténèbres. Rien ne fonctionnait correctement : il n'y avait ni cris de vaṣaṭ, ni rites sacrés, ni observances appropriées.
