पुनः पापफलं किंचिद्धा कष्टं मम वर्तते । व्यथितोऽहं त्वया पापे किमर्थं सूनकर्मणि

punaḥ pāpaphalaṃ kiṃciddhā kaṣṭaṃ mama vartate | vyathito'haṃ tvayā pāpe kimarthaṃ sūnakarmaṇi

«Hélas ! De nouveau le fruit amer du péché s’abat sur moi. À cause de toi je suis meurtri, ô pécheur : pourquoi t’adonnes-tu au métier de boucher ?»
