Transliteration

dvādaśādityanirdagdhāḥ śailāḥ śīrṇaśilāḥ pṛthak | bhasmībhūtāstu dṛśyante na naṣṭā narmadā tadā

Translation

Les montagnes, brûlées par les douze soleils, se tenaient à part, leurs rochers disloqués ; on les voyait réduites en cendres — pourtant, alors, Narmadā ne fut point anéantie.
