एवं परस्परं वीरौ जगर्जतुरुभावपि । तयोर्युद्धमभूद्घोरं तारकाग्निजसन्निभम्
evaṃ parasparaṃ vīrau jagarjaturubhāvapi | tayoryuddhamabhūdghoraṃ tārakāgnijasannibham
Ainsi les deux héros rugirent l’un contre l’autre en défi. Leur combat devint alors effroyable, flamboyant tel le feu du fils de Tārakā, Skanda.
