स्वदत्ता परदत्ता वा पालनीया वसुंधरा । यस्य यस्य यदा भूमिस्तस्य तस्य तदा फलम्

svadattā paradattā vā pālanīyā vasuṃdharā | yasya yasya yadā bhūmistasya tasya tadā phalam

Qu’elle ait été donnée par soi-même ou par autrui, la terre concédée doit être protégée. Car quiconque détient la terre à un moment donné, c’est lui qui en reçoit alors le fruit.
