एतच्छ्रुत्वा तु वचनं धर्मपुत्रस्य धीमतः । कथयामास तद्वत्तमितिहासं पुरातनम्

etacchrutvā tu vacanaṃ dharmaputrasya dhīmataḥ | kathayāmāsa tadvattamitihāsaṃ purātanam

Ayant entendu ces paroles du sage fils de Dharma, il raconta alors, telles qu’elles s’étaient produites, une antique itihāsa, un récit traditionnel des temps anciens.
