एवं संचित्यमानाहं स्थिता रात्रौ भयातुरा । कृमिराशिगतं त्वां हि कस्याहं कथयामि किम्

evaṃ saṃcityamānāhaṃ sthitā rātrau bhayāturā | kṛmirāśigataṃ tvāṃ hi kasyāhaṃ kathayāmi kim

Ainsi, je demeurai toute la nuit, me ressaisissant, saisie de peur. Je t’ai vu enfoncé dans un amas de vers; à qui pourrais-je le dire, et que pourrais-je dire?
