Se levantant, il se tint debout les mains jointes, comme s’il offrait son propre être à Lui. Puis, dans cet intervalle, lorsque ce char céleste descendit sur la terre,

Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Cosmic Event: vimāna (divine chariot) descending to earth
It highlights śaraṇāgati—standing with humility and offering one’s very self to the Lord—showing that liberation-oriented devotion begins with inner surrender to Pati (Shiva).
The devotee’s folded-hands reverence reflects Saguna upāsanā—approaching Shiva in a form that can be adored—while the ‘offering of the self’ points to the deeper intent behind Linga worship: giving up ego and bondage (pāśa) before the Lord.
Practice añjali-mudrā with mental self-offering (ātma-nivedana) while repeating the Panchākṣarī—“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—as a contemplative surrender rather than mere recitation.
