स्कन्दसरः (Skandasara) — तीर्थवर्णनम् / Description of the Skandasara Sacred Lake

आगता ब्रह्मणादिष्टाः पूर्वमेवाभिकांक्षया । श्रुत्वा वाक्यं ब्रह्मपुत्रस्य नंदीछित्त्वा पाशान्दृष्टिपातेन सद्यः

āgatā brahmaṇādiṣṭāḥ pūrvamevābhikāṃkṣayā | śrutvā vākyaṃ brahmaputrasya naṃdīchittvā pāśāndṛṣṭipātena sadyaḥ

Ils étaient arrivés plus tôt, avides d’attente et agissant sur l’ordre de Brahmā. Ayant entendu les paroles du fils de Brahmā, Nandī, d’un simple regard, trancha aussitôt les liens (pāśa).
