Pañcāvaraṇa-mārga Stotra to Yogeśvara Śiva
विशाखेन च शाखेन नैगमेयेन चावृतः । इंद्रजिच्चंद्रसेनानीस्तारकासुरजित्तथा
viśākhena ca śākhena naigameyena cāvṛtaḥ | iṃdrajiccaṃdrasenānīstārakāsurajittathā
Il était entouré de Viśākha et de Śākha, ainsi que de Naigameya ; de même (étaient présents) Indrajit, Candrasenānī et Tārikāsurajit.

It portrays the ordered presence of divinely empowered companions around a central figure, suggesting that dharma is protected through Shiva’s śakti working via many instruments—outer strength reflecting inner alignment with the Lord.
Though the verse lists warrior-attendants, Shaiva Siddhanta reads such power as dependent on Pati (Shiva). Worship of the Linga centers the devotee in the source of all śakti, from which protection and victory arise.
A practical takeaway is to meditate on Shiva as the inner commander—reciting the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) while applying Tripuṇḍra or holding Rudraksha—seeking steadiness and protection of dharma in one’s life.
