It praises the Shaiva ideal: loving attachment to Shiva, sustained worship at His feet, and reverent alignment with the divine will of Shiva and Shakti—through which auspiciousness and spiritual upliftment arise by Pati’s (Lord Shiva’s) grace.
“Worship at Shiva’s feet” points to concrete Saguna upasana—such as Linga-puja and ritual arcana—where devotion is expressed through service, offerings, and obedience to scriptural injunctions regarded as Shiva’s command.
Regular Shiva-arcana (Linga worship), coupled with mantra-japa (especially the Panchakshara, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and disciplined observance of Shiva’s injunctions (niyama), is implied as the practical path to maṅgala (auspiciousness).
