En offrant des grains grillés (lāja) accompagnés des trois douceurs, et en accomplissant l’oblation dans le feu sacré au moment prescrit, on obtient véritablement une jeune fille pour épouse, pourvue de toutes les vertus.
Narada (teaching in a Vedanga/ritual-results section; dialogue tradition with Sanatkumara context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It frames marriage as a dharmic outcome supported by properly timed Vedic fire-offering, emphasizing that right ritual method (prayoga) and purity of offering lead to auspicious life-results (phala).
While primarily ritualistic, it aligns bhakti with reverent performance of sacred acts—treating homa as an offering made in faith to the divine order, supporting a dharmic household life conducive to devotion.
It highlights ritual procedure and correct timing (tat-kāla), pointing to Vedanga disciplines that support yajña-prayoga—especially Kalpa (ritual rules) and Jyotiṣa (auspicious timing).
