The Exposition of the Nityā-paṭala
नालिकेरफलक्षोदं ससितं सगुडं तु वा । क्षौद्राक्षं जुहुयात्तद्वदयत्नाद्धनदोपमः ॥ २०० ॥
nālikeraphalakṣodaṃ sasitaṃ saguḍaṃ tu vā | kṣaudrākṣaṃ juhuyāttadvadayatnāddhanadopamaḥ || 200 ||
Qu’on verse dans le feu sacré l’essence/eau de coco mêlée de sucre, ou bien de jaggery (sucre brut) ; de même, qu’on offre du miel mêlé de raisins ou de raisins secs. En agissant ainsi, sans peine, on devient prospère comme Kubera, Seigneur des richesses.

It frames prosperity (artha) as a dharmic result of disciplined yajña/homa—using pure, sweet oblations as symbolic offerings of nourishment and gratitude to the sacred order.
Though primarily ritualistic, the act of offering pleasing substances into agni is a devotional gesture of surrender and reverence, aligning one’s material aims with sacred worship rather than mere acquisition.
It reflects Kalpa (Vedanga of ritual procedure): specifying acceptable havis (oblations) and the expected phala (fruit), a typical technical instruction for homa performance.
