Ayant écrit le Niśā-mantra avec une encre riche de lait sur un os humain, le dimanche, à minuit, qu’on le consacre en le récitant mille fois.
Narada (in instruction mode within a technical/ritual section)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhayanaka
Secondary Rasa: raudra
It teaches a precise method of mantra-siddhi: correct material (milk-based writing), correct support (asthi), and correct auspicious timing (Ravivāra, niśītha), finalized by intensive japa (one thousand recitations) to ‘charge’ the mantra.
Though procedural, it frames spiritual practice as disciplined repetition and faith in mantra—qualities that also underpin bhakti-sādhana, where steadiness (niyama) and focused remembrance are central.
It highlights applied Jyotiṣa-style timing (Ravivāra, niśītha) and ritual procedure (mantra-lekhana and abhimantrana), showing how technical rules are used to structure religious practice.
