Ô Seigneur des dieux, si Tu es satisfait—si une grâce doit m’être accordée—alors, ô mon Seigneur, fais que je possède toujours la capacité d’adorer chaque jour Ton liṅga.
A devotee addressing Devesha (Ishvara)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
The verse treats unwavering worship itself as the greatest boon—seeking not worldly gain, but the lasting inner capacity (sāmarthya) to remain devoted through daily sacred practice.
It frames bhakti as continuity and steadfastness: the devotee prays for nitya-upāsanā—constant ability to worship the Lord—showing that devotion is sustained practice rather than a one-time emotion.
It points to ritual competence (sāmarthya) needed for regular arcana—discipline, correct procedure, and continuity of daily worship—aligning with the practical, technical orientation of the Third Pada.
