The Account of Hanumān
सिंचेच्छीतैर्जलैश्चापि वासितैः सृणिकामपि । संस्कृताः स्वायतास्तत्र नरा नार्योऽथवा नृपाः ॥ १६६ ॥
siṃcecchītairjalaiścāpi vāsitaiḥ sṛṇikāmapi | saṃskṛtāḥ svāyatāstatra narā nāryo'thavā nṛpāḥ || 166 ||
Qu’on l’asperge aussi d’eau fraîche, voire d’eau parfumée, et qu’on applique également la pâte odorante. Ainsi purifiés et maîtres d’eux-mêmes—hommes, femmes, ou même rois—ils deviennent justes et convenables dans leur conduite.
