Ô Nārada, ceci a été prédit pour l’avenir : en adoptant l’attitude d’un enfant, Śrī Rāma accordera à Māruti (Hanumān), petit-fils d’Añjanā, à la fois la jouissance en ce monde et la délivrance.

FAQs

It highlights that a pure, childlike inner attitude (bāla-bhāva) in devotion is powerful enough to attract Śrī Rāma’s grace, yielding both worldly well-being (bhukti) and final liberation (mukti).

Bhakti here is defined less by external complexity and more by heartfelt simplicity—approaching the Lord with innocent trust and dependence, which becomes the decisive cause of divine bestowal (pradāyakam).

The verse foregrounds bhāva (inner disposition) as the practical key for phala (results), a principle used in Vedic ritual theory as well: intention and mental orientation condition outcomes, even when the topic is devotional rather than technical Vedāṅga procedure.
