The Account of Kārtavīrya’s Protective Kavaca

Kārtavīrya-kavaca-vṛttānta

क्षेमंकरीशक्तियुतश्चौरवर्गविभञ्जनः । प्राचीं दिशं रक्षतु मे बाणबाणासनायुधः ॥ १७ ॥

kṣemaṃkarīśaktiyutaścauravargavibhañjanaḥ | prācīṃ diśaṃ rakṣatu me bāṇabāṇāsanāyudhaḥ || 17 ||

Puisse Celui qui est pourvu de la Śakti nommée Kṣemaṅkarī, briseur des bandes de voleurs, et dont les armes sont les flèches et l’arc, me protéger dans la direction de l’Est.
