Comme devenu serviteur du mantra et du rite, le pratiquant doit se comporter en conséquence et accomplir ce qui est prescrit au sādhaka. De nouveau, la nuit, qu’il consacre cendre et eau par le mantra, en le répétant mille fois.
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada the technical procedure of mantra-sadhana)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhayanaka
It emphasizes humility and exactness in sadhana: the practitioner must submit to the discipline of the rite and empower ritual substances through sustained japa.
By describing the sādhaka as 'servant-like,' it frames practice as devoted service—obediently following injunctions and offering effort (japa) with reverence.
Ritual technique and mantra-prayoga: timed practice (night observance), fixed-count japa (sahasrāvṛtti), and mantra-consecration of materials (ash and water) used in rites.
