Śuka’s Origin, Mastery of Śāstra, and Testing at Janaka’s Court

सुविभक्तजलाक्रीडं रम्यं पुष्पितपादपम् । दर्शयित्वासने स्थाप्य राजानं च व्यजिज्ञपत् ॥ ६१ ॥

suvibhaktajalākrīḍaṃ ramyaṃ puṣpitapādapam | darśayitvāsane sthāpya rājānaṃ ca vyajijñapat || 61 ||

Après lui avoir montré un lieu ravissant, aménagé de jeux d’eau bien ordonnés et d’arbres en fleurs, il fit asseoir le roi sur le trône, puis s’adressa à lui avec un respect profond.
