Graha–Ketu–Utpāta Lakṣaṇas: Solar/Lunar Omens, Comets, Eclipses, and Calendar Rules

सितरक्तैः पीतकृष्णैर्वर्णैर्विप्रादिपीडनम् । घ्नंति द्वित्रिचतुर्वर्णैर्भुवि राजजनान्मुने ॥ ६ ॥

sitaraktaiḥ pītakṛṣṇairvarṇairviprādipīḍanam | ghnaṃti dvitricaturvarṇairbhuvi rājajanānmune || 6 ||

Ô sage, sur la terre la classe royale opprime et tourmente les brāhmaṇa et les autres; par des factions marquées « blanc », « rouge », « jaune » et « noir », elle les abat, selon des divisions doubles, triples et quadruples.
